What a great dog
She is going to make some family a fantastic pet. She's so happy. She has found her resting spot in the house and that is where she spends most of her time. The first few nights I had to direct her to her crate at bedtime but now she goes right in with no problems and sleeps thru the night. Today was Old Timer's Day in LaVergne and we took her to the parade and then later in the day to the festivities in the park and she did more than her part to promote her breed. She ignored the little dogs and let all the children pet and love all over her. She walks good on the leash but keeps trying to walk in between my legs. I think she would be better in a home that doesn't have really small children and anybody with mobility problems because she can at times get overly excited and bouncy and just get in the way in general. She loves to sort of snuggle her head in and have her head and neck rubbed and she won't go away until it stops. We are still having a little bit of a problem getting her to eat but she does eventually finish. She's got alpha tendencies, the other dogs can't pee or poop without her going over and peeing on the same spot, but there have no altercations at all and her and Maggie were drinking out of the water bowl at the same after we got home today.

A big bundle of happy
I picked up KK from the vet on Friday afternoon and she was bouncy from the first meeting. When I got her to the car she flew in with no problems. The first meeting with the resident pups went very well. It took her a few hours to settle down in the house but her house manners are very good. One no is all it takes if she starts to pick up something she shouldn't. No accidents in house other than a few drops of happy puppy pee-pee. The first night she wouldn't go anywhere near my husband but he got up before me the next morning and she been his buddy since then. We are having a some issues with her eating and i'm mixing in some canned food and she's doing a little better. She is crating good, but cowers before going in, she is sleeping the night in the crate with only one little whine right at the beginning. She walks pretty good on the leash but tends to try and get right in front of me. At almost 4 1/2 she has the energy of a puppy. She bounces and wants to play, more with me than with the other dogs. She would make a great companion for someone who is more active.
